Human immunoglobulin IgE is a class of mammal antibodies that may be elevated in different clinical situations, including allergy and helminthic diseases, also plays an essential role in type I hypersensitivity. Human IgE consists of a monomer of two heavy e chain and two light chains and it is the least abundant isotype of immunoglobulins in human serum.
