Monoclonal Antibody anti-human lambda chain

DESCRIPTION:
The immunoglobulin light chain is the small polypeptide subunit of an antibody (immunoglobulin) with a molecular weight aprox. 25000 daltons. A typical antibody is composed of two immunoglobulin (Ig) heavy chains and two Ig light chains (kappa and lambda proteins). Each light chain is composed of two domains: constant and variable domains for antigen binding.
Ig light chains produced in neoplastic plasma cells, such as in multiple myeloma called Bence Jones proteins.
